As 2021 draws to a close, we wanted to recap on a year of great progress in HireVibes and give a look ahead to what the future holds as we continue our momentum and move into 2022.
At the beginning of the year we released a refreshed visual identity for HireVibes. Our new blue look and feel amplified our brand and was the beginning of a wave of developments to come throughout the year.
Hires & Rewards Generated +300%
2021 has seen more hires completed than ever on HireVibes. As a consequence, the rewards distributed to the HireVibes community has increase over 3x year on year:
The total rewards at the end of 2020 v the end of 2021:
Total Rewards (2020 year end) = $26,246
Total Rewards (2021 year end) = $84,366 (321% increase YoY)
HireVibes DAO has accumulated over 3% of VIBES total supply
With successful hires on the platform excelling this year, over 3% of the total supply of VIBES tokens (12m/350m) has already accumulated in HireVibes DAO account. This underlines the strength of HireVibes tokenomics and the sound foundation the platform is built upon.
We can see that with this trend continuing, the more hires made on the platform will increase the demand for the VIBES token. And with a portion of these tokens continuously being bought back and taken off the market on every hire and accumulated in HireVibes DAO Treasury, this will continuously reduce the supply of VIBES tokens available on the market. A shortage of supply paired with increased demand typically results in positive price action over the long term.
4,000+ people have access to clean drinking water, every day
The donation rewards generated to our transparent charity Wells for Zoe, have also had a major impact over the last year. This year, HireVibes brought the number of water wells built to 21, which is currently serving safe, clean drinking water to 4,190 people in Africa daily.
As HireVibes continues to scale next year, this automatic donation mechanism will continue to have an even greater impact and our transparency tool will continue to highlight it on our website.
Participants in the first Stacks Accelerator cohort
This year saw HireVibes begin it’s biggest update so far with the migration of it’s token and wallet from the EOS blockchain to the Stacks blockchain. As a result, the HireVibes team was accepted to the first Stacks accelerator resulting in a financial investment as well as 3 months of intensive mentorship from world class professionals.
During the Stacks Accelerator we had the opportunity to interact with several amazing people, advisors, entrepreneurs and builders in the crypto space as well as the opportunity to meet with other outstanding teams in our cohort. We learned more about the Stacks blockchain and ecosystem that we were joining and importantly found alignment with the HireVibes missions and the Stacks mission to build a user-owned internet. We couldn’t have had a better welcome to the Stacks community and the lessons we have learned will help take HireVIbes to the next level.
VIBES Token Migration
The VIBES token contract is currently live on the Stacks Testnet and although we had hoped to be live on Stacks Mainnet before the end of the year, we are continuing our rigorous testing of the contract to ensure there are no issues and believe that the launch of the VIBES token to Stacks Mainnet will take place in January 2022 once sufficient testing has been completed.
STX Rewards on HireVibes
Another development offered to our users this year was the ability to be rewarded in STX token in addition to VIBES and Bitcoin. When sufficient HVT is staked by a user, they can choose to receive their rewards in BTC, and we have now expanded this rewards options to include STX also.
A look ahead to 2022
We couldn’t be more excited to move into the New Year and embrace the challenges and opportunities that await us. We would like to thank our community; those that were with us from the EOS community and those that will continue with us on our journey as we begin our life on Stacks.

Scorechain, an easy-to-use Compliance Solution for Crypto Asset Regulation, has just listed 2 new roles on the HireVibes App. Scorechain is a Luxembourgish startup that provides SaaS business intelligence and big data for blockchain technologies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Ripple.
Conductive, Web3 user acquisition enabler, joins HIreVibes
Conductive, building Web3 acquisition tools, has just posted 4 new roles on the HireVibes App. Conductive makes marketing smarter, easier, and more secure than ever before by providing analytics, attribution, batch token sending, soft staking, and other solutions for Web3.
